Study Away in 2024-2025

All students considering study abroad or domestic study in fall 2024, spring 2025, or full year 2024-2025 were required to complete the Study Away Approval Checklist by Monday, April 1, 2024. If you missed the deadline, you will need to plan to study away in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Spring 2025 students should use the summer to explore all your options! Popular programs will fill by the fall semester so the summer is a perfect time to get started on an application to your top-choice program. Consult with GEO if you have questions! Email geo@amherst.edu.

Welcome to the Office of Global Education

Global experiences provide new perspectives and a framework for how we engage with the world. Whether you鈥檙e a student or faculty member, we offer resources and advising on global learning opportunities associated with the college and our partners. Our office helps prepare 麻豆国产AV students for their semester or year away, and works with them upon their return to better integrate their experiences into curricular and co-curricular life at the College.

We encourage students to engage in deep reflection about their experiences in order to deepen awareness of global issues. We also work to develop an efficient and customizable process to guide students in research and decision-making as they select a program.
